A 35,000sf warehouse is being renovated for use as a data center. ENGQUEST provided structural design to include a rooftop condenser, interior and exterior equipment pads, pipe support and building canopy.

This California data center facility was expanded with the addition of a second story to the existing building. A first floor addition encompassed approximately 76,950 sf. The building is of concrete precast panel construction with steel framing floor and roof. ENGQUEST was been tasked with finding solutions for a highly technical data center environment providing multiple redundancies in safety as well as equipment. Consideration was given not just to the occupancy of personnel but also for current and future needs of computer equipment.

ENGQUEST worked with the general contractor on the renovation of a penthouse residence. For additional storage,
an elevated attic deck was planned. ENGQUEST evaluated the existing floor load for the addtional load imposed by
the elevated attic deck and provided structural design for the attic deck.

An existing Hardeeville suite hotel underwent extensive renovation. ENGQUEST provided structural design to support expansion of guest suites onto areas previously used as balconies, elevator addition. The lobby was also reconfigured from a low ceiling into a two-story space. For the Savannah location, ENGQUEST provided full structural design for construction of a four-story hotel.
The Springs at Tech Ridge | Austin, TX

This project involved the construction of The Springs at Tech Ridge, a planned apartment community consisting of 12 two-story and three-story apartment buildings of four different building types, one leasing center/clubhouse, two multi-vehicle detached garage structures, and other ancillary building structures. For this project, ENGQUEST provided foundation plans, floor framing plans, lateral load analysis and shear wall design, roof framing plan, wall sections, details and schedules, and design calculations.
